An aspiring heroine turned popular character artiste Hema is now engaged to a brisk shooting schedule in Chennai, for the movie Salute, starring Vishal. The film will be releasing as Satyam in Tamil Nadu. The artiste turned a busy bee in Telugu film industry after her impressive role in Victory Venkatesh film Malleeswari, teasing the hero as Pellikani Prasad. Hema says she is excited about doing a vital role in a bilingual film. She did a hilarious role in Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi, in which Lord Yama is shown as gifting her endless saree, rescuing her from molestation on the lines of Krishna doing it for Draupati. The role brought her good recognition too. Hema is signed up a different role in Chandra Siddarth's film with Tabu in the lead role. Also, she keeps herself a regular in several movie-related functions. Though not a heroine, she is expected to do some female-centric movies in the coming months-Telugu Cinemass.
