Varma’s comeback

It's been a long time since RAMGOPAL VARMA directed or produced a Telugu film. Even though he started his career as director with Telugu films, he later moved on to Bollywood. Now, he is making a comeback to Tollywood as a producer. This upcoming project is titled Raksha, which is being directed by a newcomer, VAMSI AKELLA. Kudos to RGV for giving a chance to budding talents. JAGAPATI BABU, KALYANI, BABY NEHA will be playing the lead characters in Raksha, which is touted as a 'spine-chilling' horror movie. According to the sources, Varma was inspired by a true life incident where a man was beaten to death, suspecting him to be a black magician. The film's set for August release. Well, Tollywood is happy to have their son back home!
