Chiru Behind The Scene: IT raids to scare Chiru?
With the reports of Chiranjeevi entering politics are getting strengthened day after day, the Congress government is working out plans to dissuade him from taking the decision.
The Tuesday's Income Tax raids on the houses of top hero Mahesh Babu, director V V Vinayak, producer Dil Raju and actress Charmi were meant not to target these film personalities, but to create panic in the Chiranjeevi camp.
Sources said the Rajasekhara Reddy government wants to send signals to Chiranjeevi that if he dares to embarrass the Congress, he would face a similar action. Whether IT department would dig out any records or not from Chiru house, the raids themselves would be a big move to run down the image of the Megastar. The officials are capable of fabricating documents against Chiru and as a result, the very purpose of Chiru raising the issue of corruption would be defeated. What a strategy!
