RAJINI'S FANS DISCIPLINED

Rajnikant cries halt to fans' frenzy over 'SIVAJI'

Even as his innumerable fans are making hectic preparations to celebrate the release of his 100th film in Tamil, Sivaji on June 15, Rajnikant has sought to restrain them by directing them not to go overboard and cause public nuisance.

Rajnikant fans, who had been waiting for the release of 'Sivaji' two years after their celluloid hero's hit Chandramukhi , are virtually painting Tamil Nadu red, as it were, putting up huge cut outs and digital banners hailing their celluloid hero.

However, Rajnikant, who after a long gap met with his fans in Chennai last month on the eve of the release of 'Sivaji’ on Thursday issued 'five commandments' to his fans asking them to maintain decorum while indulging in the bash.

Rajnikant's directives issued included not to disturb public by indulging in extravagant celebrations, not to burst crackers on the roads disrupting vehicular traffic, not to put up welcome arches, not to write any political slogans on the digital banners and not to write message hurting the sentiments of the people.

Rajnikant also directed his fans not to disturb the audience while watching the film in theatres.

The expectation about the film among Rajnikant's fans is all the more great, what with the release date having been postponed thrice. The film, produced by the prestigious AVM productions banner and directed by 'Indian' fame Shankar , was originally scheduled to be released on Tamil New year on April 14th . But it was postponed to May 31 and now to June 15.
