Athidhi based on Krishna's Ramarajyam lo Bheemaraju?
After delivering a sleeper hit 'Athanokkade' with Kalyan Ram, director Surender's Ashok with NTR sank without trace. Despite his flop, he managed to get a Prince Mahesh's film. The movie is titled "Athidhi" and is being produced by Mahesh's sibling Ramesh on Sri Krishna Productions banner, which made 'Arjun' in the past. The movie has Bollywood starlet Amrita Rao in the lead. Mani Sharma scores the music for this film. A long first schedule of the movie was held in Rajasthan and Delhi. According to highly placed sources in the unit, the basic storyline of the movie is similar to Superstar Krishna's hit – Ramarajyam lo Bheemaraju. The producers planned a 9th August release, on the occasion of Mahesh's birthday. But production delays have forced them to release the movie in the first week of September.
