Nayantara To Sign Rs 1 Crore Endorsement Deal

Nayantara is one of the most sought after actresses in South Indian film industry. In recent years, she is the only actress, who has rejected many plum offers in both Telugu and Tamil film industries.  Film Stars And Endorsement Deals Brand endorsement is the real big thing for celebrities and most of the stars in the film industry revere ad films. The fact is that they fetch them great rewards in a very less time. They also make their presence felt on the small screen.

Nayan’s Colleagues' Deals Nayan's colleagues like Asin, Trisha, Anuksha Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal and few others are endorsing a host of brands. They are busy making a quick bucks. As per reports, they get Rs 15 to 20 lakhs for a single day's shoot for an advertisement.

Why Is Nayan Shying Away From Deals? When compared to her colleagues, Nayantara is extremely popular down South and she enjoys an enviable fan following in all the four major South Indian languages. Moreover, she has the capacity to bring in that extra bit of glitz to the product. But why is she shying away from appearing in ads?

Nayan Defends Not Doing Ads When quizzed, the dusky beauty asks, "If I'm not using certain soap, how can say that the soap is secret of my beauty? If I'm not drinking a particular soft drink, how can say to the people that the drink is secret of my energy?"

Nayan Confident About Her Potency Nayantara is well aware about her capacity. The actress adds, "If I say yes to endorsements, people will form queue for me."

She is also the only actress, who has always shied away from lucrative endorsement deals. The latest buzz is that she has been offered a whopping Rs 1 crore to be the brand ambassador for Srinikethan. Will she accept this deal? According to reports, Nayantara has got a lucrative deal to promote the Kalanikethan group's soon-to-be-launched brand Srinikethan.

When the bosses of the brand narrated the concept, the actress liked it. She has reportedly gone through the agreement and payment details. She has reportedly given her oral consent for it. "But she still hasn't signed on the dotted line," an English daily quotes a source as saying. Unlike her fellow heroines, Nayantara has not been keen on endorsing projects right from the beginning of her career. In her decade old acting career, she has been offered several endorsement deals, but she has rejected most of them. The only ad she did in recent times is for textile giant Pothys' Diwali collection, which had hit the screens in 2010. Now, sources close to Kalaniketan claim that the bosses are confident that she will accept their whopping deal.
