Side effects Of Srija Saga

Srija wanted her papa to call her, but mum’s the word from superstar dad Chiranjeevi. A day after Srija demanded that her father speak with her assuring safety to her and her husband, the megastar continued to maintain a stoic silence.

Some sources claimed that Chiranjeevi and his wife left their Jubilee Hills residence and are now staying elsewhere in the city. “They are fed up with the stream of visitors dropping in with advice and consolation,” a source said. But other sources claimed that the star was very much at home, but wanted to send out a strong “leave me alone” message.

The preoccupation with the Srija saga, however, has thrown out of gear the work schedules of Chiranjeevi, his newly launched son Ram Charan and brother Pawan Kalyan. Most affected is Pawan Kalyan, who in filmi style deposited his weapon in the Jubilee Hills police station on Monday. The actor should have been busy shooting for ‘Jalsaa.’ But right now he is out of action. The movie went on the floors sometime back and also completed a couple of shooting schedules. The shooting was supposed to have resumed but the Srija incident has thrown it out of gear.

Also directly affected by Srija’s elopement and marriage is her brother Charan whose debut movie ‘Chirutha’ was released recently. Though the movie opened to packed houses, the crowds have now dwindled in the theatres.

Charan is set to do his next film with an ace director but the family drama is expected to result in the venture getting delayed. Chiranjeevi, not involved in any project after his recent Shankardada Zindabad was said to be in touch with some Tamil directors to finalise a storyline. This is now expected be delayed for a long time.

The crisis seems to have also affected Allu Arjun, son of Allu Aravind, the brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi. His movie has to be completed soon but work has come to a halt.
