KANNADA FILMS ARE HOT NOW IN TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY !

It seems Telugu film industry has shifted its focus from Tamil and Malayalam films to Kannada film industry. Earlier our producers used to land in Chennai to bag the remake rights of Tamil and Malayalam movies, now they are eyeing on Kannada films.

At least three Kannada hits are being remade into Telugu. Rajashekar's current film "Gorintaku", is remake of Kannada hit, "Annathangi". The film has begun its shooting.

M S Raju has bought the remake rights of Kannada blockbuster, "Mungaru Male". He is remaking it as "Vaana".

On other hand, director Jonnalagadda Srinivasa Rao is starting a new film with Jagapathi Babu based on the Kannada film, Rishi, starring Shivarajkumar.

Some directors are also planning to remake other Kannada hits like "Deadly Soma" and "Duniya".

Kannada films are current flavour in Telugu film industry.
