RAJIV KANAKALA AS HERO IN "OM SHANTHI"

Telugu movie "Om Shanthi", starring Rajiv Kanakala as hero, under the banner of iStudios is about the evils of terrorism and message to the youth to effectively tackle the menace. This film is being directed by D.Rajnag, who had been in the direction department of V.V.Vinayak. Music was composed by Vijaya Varshini and the lyrics were penned by Chandra Bose. At present, songs are being recorded at Ramanaidu Studios. The producer said," This movie gives the audience a socially relevant message. 75% of the shooting will take place in Hyderabad and 30% in Malayasia. We are also introducing a new face as heroine. The shooting will start soon." He further said that his next venture would be a big budget film. Director Rajnag said," The theme of the film deals with extremism and the role of youth. As the title implies, the film calls for peace by putting an end to violence."
