Kamal Haasan, the universal actor who is the most versatile performer on Indian screen will be given Padma Vibushan by the central government, believe Kollywood industry sources. A list of names that is recommended by the state government for Padma awards has been sent to centre and it is said Kamal has been festured in the list recommending Padma Vibushan for him.
The recommendation from Tamil Nadu state government for Kamal has come as a surprise for everybody. Recently during the release of his latest film Vishwaroopam, there was major tiff between him and the government. On the other Mammoty might get this prestigious award, is the talk of the town in Trivandrum.
Will they get it or not only time will tell.
