Sridevi, daughter of veteran actress Manjula, makes a comeback with a romantic film Manjeera.
Directed by Sai Bhanu and produced by Motukuri Sambasiva Rao, the film has youngsters Gowtham and Sridevi playing lovers who surpass various hurdles to unite. “It's a violent love story,” declares the director, who claims to have almost wrapped up the shooting part. “For the first time in my career I am playing a Muslim girl and it was quite challenging,” informs actress Sridevi, who was excited when she heard the well-knit script and is determined to bounce back with this big entertainer.
