After playing a social deviant in Jalsa, PAVAN KALYAN will be seen as an upright cop in his upcoming Puli. The fit looking actor has grown his moustache to nicely fit into the role. Director SJ SURYAH claimed that the actor has worked on his looks even before he narrated his full script. Interestingly, for both the actor and director it is the first time they are attempting a full fledged cop story so the duo need to handle it with caution. Earlier the talented actor played a doting brother in Annavaram and a scribe in Bangaram but both relied on slambang action rather than on the plot. Similarly overdose of comedy diluted the brooding anger of a reformed naxal to make a mockery of unique characterisation. Hope Pavan makes sure that the tale of an honest cop will be dealt with realistically.
