Kathanayakudu Releasing Today, But Rajni Fans Grips

Releasing Today: Rajni mania grips fans

It’s Kathanayakudu time! The Rajinikanth starrer is hitting the screens today and already, the Rajini fever seems to have gripped fans in Andhra and Tamil Nadu. It’s a bilingual film and is titled Kuselan in Tamil.

The film wherein real life superstar plays a reel life superstar is directed by Chandramukhi-fame P Vasu. And, it is a double whammy for Rajini’s fans! Seeing their star in a star’s role and that too when being directed by a person who gave a landmark hit like Chandramukhi! Hold on! The specialties of this film do not end there. It has our very own Jagapathi Babu in another lead role. A R Rehman’s nephew G V Prakash has composed the film’s music. While the songs are chartbusters, even Rajini had a word of praise for this twenty something music director.

Fans are also going gaga over the posters of the film, which potray Rajini very stylishly. The makers of the movie are on cloud nine after seeing the response for Rajini's look and are promising fans that the film will be paisa vasool, fully.

The film happens to be a remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Katha Parayumbol' which had superstar Mammootty in it. Interestingly, Mammootty's role was barely 12 minutes in the film and the remade versions have some really lengthy roles for the character.
