Director Madan who gave a good break for the hero Jagapathi Babu with his first directorial venture ‘Pellaina Kothalo’, now, seems to be quite confident of repeating his magic to Uday Kiran too, with the film ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’ made under his home production Aa Naluguru Films.
This film ‘Gunde Jhallumandhi’ starring Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma which is likely to release soon has created the ripples even before its release. That is, for the first time in film history, the satellite rights of a small budget film like ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’ was sold for a record price of Rs 2 crores. What is surprising everyone is that neither the hero of the film Uday Kiran nor the heroine Aditi Sharma has the market value and not capable of selling the film. But, if we think of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days’, we might get the answer quickly.
