Well-known Comedian Mallikharjuna Rao no more

Mallikharjuna Rao, who had been admitted in Apollo Hospital two days ago with a complaint of Lukemia (Blood Cancer), has expired today morning. This ace comedian started his career in early 80’s and became familiar with the character “Battala Satyam” in Rajendra Prasad’s ‘Ladies Tailor’ directed by Vamsi. There was no stopping for him after that with more than 300 films to his credit along with the Nandi Award for the best supporting role in “Thammudu”.

Mallikharjuna Rao was survived with a wife, a son and two daughters. Anakapalli, being his birth place, his last rites are likely to take place over there. The hospital was swarm with tollywood industry to pay their last respects.
