Honeybees delay wedding
Mahbubnagar: Marriage delayed due to honeybees? Well, it seems honeybees have become an inseparable part of Mahbubnagar district if only the latest incident of honeybees attacking a marriage party in Damaragidda mandal on Friday is any indication.
It happened during the marriage of Rajasekhar Goud and Bujjemma of Narsapur in Damaragidda mandal at the local Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple when the honeybees from a beehive on a nearby tree got disturbed and began attacking 200 guests who assembled there. Even as the people ran helter-skelter, the bridegroom and the bride were also attacked by the honeybees. The marriage which was to take place in the morning was performed in the evening. Tollywood actress Meera Jasmine, who was shooting for her new film ‘Gorintaku’ was injured when the honeybees attacked the film crew near Keshampeta in the district two weeks ago.
