The Platinum Disc function of Happy Days directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula on the banner of Amigos International would be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on November 5. Disclosing this, distributor Dil Raju says, 'We are not just celebrating the function to distribute platinum discs, but are trying to make it a platform to select new singers. The singers would be selected in presence of popular music directors of Telugu film industry.
I will provide them opportunity to sing in our forthcoming films.' Producer-cum-director Sekhar Kammula says, 'Our film Happy Days is being screened with 90 prints so far and we will soon increase the number of prints. The 50-days function of the film would be celebrated during November 16-18 in the US. We are very happy that everyone one is talking about the characters in the film-Telugu Cinemass.
We are indebted to the Telugu audiences as they made the film a big hit, though it was brought out with less budget. We expect the same kind of response till Sankranthi. Surprisingly, the film is attracting not only in our State but all the Telugu-speaking audiences abroad.' Nikhil, Rahul, Monali Choudary, and Gayatri Rao also participated in the press briefing.
