Popular TV anchor-turned character artiste on the big screen Prabhakar, for the first time, is doing a full-length role with both positive and negative shades in the movie titled Cell, considered an experimental commercial. The film is coming up as an out and out suspense thriller with unique technique called reverse screenplay, with climax coming in the beginning and vice versa. Produced by Tungaturthi Sreelakshmi, this eerie flick is directed by Venkatanarayana, who also provides dialogues and screenplay. Recently, the film underwent extensive shoot on state highways in and around Hyderabad, finishing 30 days of shoot. Producer Sreelakshmi said that there would no stunts and no songs.
Prabhakar says: "I am immensely pleased with the innovative trend of reverse screenplay in this film. This is first of its kind in Telugu film industry. This strategy would sure provide superb entertainment to the audiences." Sameer, Kota Sankar Rao, Chatrapati Sekhar, Bhavani are some of the artistes in the film. John is the cinematographer and Mahi Sridhar is the music director. With its first copy ready, Cell gets ready for release in a few weeks-Telugu Cinemass.
