Telugu director EVV Satyanarayana's film for his son Naresh – titled Pellandhi Kaani – is set for release on October 12th. Made on Rasi Moves banner, it is produced by Narasimha Rao. Kamalini Mukherjee is the heroine. EVV says, "I am very happy and confident about the success of the film. Kamalakar has given excellent music. The band of music director Kamalakar is in tears after watching some scenes. Hareesh is making his second entry with this film." Highlight of the film is that the unit undertook a nerve-raking 50-day shooting schedule in Kashmir valley, canning major portion of the songs there, apart from the talkie part. This film happens to be the first Indian film to go for shoot in terrorist-infested Kashmir Valley after 1980s-Telugu Cinemass.
