The Magisterial Court in Vizag today postponed the hearing in bigamy case against actor Pawan Kalyan. The absence of the estranged couple at the scheduled hearing, besides the police seeking a grace period of one month to complete their investigation formalities led to the postponement. It is reported that the honourable judge took the absence of the actor seriously and observed that it would not be acceptable on the part of the police in not submitting the preliminary report. Moreover, the judge had directed that Pawan Kalyan should attend the hearing compulsorily this time as he had not done so in the first hearing. In this backdrop, the judge ordered the hearing on September 20th. The police are required to submit their preliminary findings to the court on or before August 26th. To note here, Nandini, the estranged wife of the actor had filed a bigamy case against her husband Pawan Kalyan and demanded alimony of Rs. 5 lakh per month. She charged that Pawan Kalyan had married Renu Desai without divorcing her.
