Hero Vishal made a name for himself in Andhra Pradesh through his dubbed movies like "Pandem Kodi". After dubbing four of his Tamil movies, he does now a straight Telugu film which is titled "Salute". It has Police System as the backdrop. Vishal plays a Police Officer in the movie.
Salute was launched on August 15th on the eve of 60th Indian Independence day. The film is produced by Vikram Krishna and directed by debutant Rajashekhar.Nayanatara is his heroine.
Kannada superstar Upendra who is playing a pivotal role, Director Puri Jagannadh, Ramanaidu, the film's music director Harris Jayaraj had graced the launch ceremony.
