The Movie Artistes Association and the Malaysian Cultural Foundation are jointly organising "Bollywood, Tollywood Indian Star Nite – 2007" in various countries across the globe including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Brunei. The program would be held for 10 days.
A press meet was arranged at Film Nagar Cultural Center in Hyderabad to disclose the details about the program.
Speaking on the occasion, MAA president Nagendrababu says, 'Earlier 'MAA' had donated Rs 40 lakhs to Chief Minister Relief Fund to help the tsunami victims under the leadership of Dr M Mohanbabu. We have arranged a star nite, to collect more funds than that and our artistes would enthral and entertain the audiences on a grand scale through various cultural events at various countries.'
The funds collected through this program would be utilized for the benefit of poor artistes and for their welfare.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth and several other MAA members participated in the press meet.
