There was a very good response to the audio "Yamadonga" directed by SS Rajamouli, presented by Rama Rajamouli and produced by Cherry and Urmila Gunnam on the banner of Viswamitra Creations, with NTR, Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas in the lead and Padma Shri, Dr M Mohanbabu playing a prestigious role of Yamadharma Raju which was released into the market recently.
The first bunch of audio cassettes were sold off like hot cakes. The second bunch that was released later was also on selling spree.
The novel experiment by Smt Valli of Vel Records, which was marketing the audio, to check the piracy had achieved positive results.
The Vel Records are providing a book containing the stills of "Yamadonga" film along with the cassette or CD. Those who purchase the pirated cassette or CD could not get the gift.
This had helped in making the consumer get the original pieces instead of pirated ones.
Let us wait for one more week to get a clear picture about the details of the audio sales.
