It is a well known fact that the Telugu film "Pokiri" directed by Puri Jagannath and produced on the banner of Vaishno Academy with Prince Maheshbabu and Ileana in the lead had rewritten the Box Office records of the 75-year-old Telugu film industry.
With that blockbuster, Maheshbabu's image skyrocketed and he had become the most sought after hero.
Presently he is doing a film "Atithi" produced by his brother Rameshbabu on the banner of Krishna Productions under the direction of Surender Reddy, with Bollywood girl Amrita Rao playing opposite him in the female lead.
After this film, Maheshbabu is going to act in a film to be produced by Dr KL Narayana on the banner of Durga Arts in which Jasti Hemambar is making his debut as director.
The film would be formally launched on August 9 and "Mirchi" is the title under consideration for the movie. Young music director Devisri Prasad is going to score music for the flick.
