'BHUKAILAS' WILL HIT 200 DAYS: UNIT MEMBERS

"Bhukailas – Ekaram 50 Kotlu" is doing absolutely fine in all theatres. The first week collection stood at Rs. 1.65 core. The movie will run for 200 days. These are the statements of the film unit, which spoke to the film press today at FNCC, Film Nagar, Hyderabad. To some extent, the movie generated much heat starring Venu Madhav and Mumaith Khan in the lead roles. Pragati Films made this comedy film in the direction of Siva Nageswara Rao, with music by Mani Sharma. Tomorrow, the film is going to complete its second week run.

Vishwanatha Reddy (producer) said that their "Vijay Yatra" in Uttarandhra and Guntur areas registered super response from the audience. The yatra took off at Vizianagaram and ended at Vijayawada last night. He said he was happy with the success and hoped to do his next film immediately.

Director Siva Nageswara Rao said: "We are live witness to the stamina of Venu Madhav. We are thrilled to see the crowds shouting his name in hysterical mood. The success shows the support of the audience for comedy films. When the films project the real life situations, it would be even more successful."

Venu Madhav called the "Vijay Yatra" as "Thanksgiving Yatra" to the audience. "I am ready to do the hero roles anytime provided I should get convincing stories, producers and directors. In Bhukailas, I am not the hero, but the Land. The villain is money. Their tussle portrayed the rest of the film".

Suhasini (Chantigadu heroine), who played wife to Venu Madhav at climax, thanked cameraman Srinivasa Reddy for showing her "wonderfully and beautifully" on the screen. Kondavalasa, Kadambari Kiran and LB Sriram also took part in the press meet.
