After its roaring success at the marquee, Sekhar Kammula's Happy Days is being eagerly sought after by other languages producers for remake in their respective fields. The Tamil rights have already been acquired by Prakash Raj for a handsome price. A well known Kannada production house is almost at the verge of concluding a remake deal.
The film trade circles are abuzz that one of the Bollywood media corporate majors is right now engaged in serious negotiations for the Hindi remake rights of both Happy Days and Shekar Kammula's earlier hit Anand-Telugu Cinemass.
Looks like happy days are in the offing for small-budget non-main-stream Tollywood films.
