Tollywood actor Sairam Shankar made his debut in brother Jagan's "143", which did the vanishing trick at the box office. His second act as a hero in Krishna Vamsi's "Danger", sank without a trace. Then Sairam acted in a film with first time director Srirama. Halfway through the project, the film's producer Raghunath Sogi downed the shutters and closed shop.
In the absence of any takers, brother Puri Jagannath and producer Dil Raju took upon themselves the challenge of promoting Sairam as hero and produced "Hello Premistara", directed by Kollywood's Rajkumar. The film surprised everybody, as it looked like a remake of "Vaali", with some changes here and there. This film too did a Titanic at the box-office-Telugu Cinemass.
Thus, Sairam Shankar achieved the rare distinction of achieving three successive flops. Coincidentally, the heroine of "Hello Premisthara", Shiela, also achieved a hat-trick of flops. Her earlier two films Seethakoka Chiluka and Rajubhai crashed into oblivion. What a flop show !
